My first trial to get delayed un-coupling of Egger-Bahn style loop-and-hook coupler(1)

“There’s no such thing as perfect coupler. Just like there’s no such thing as perfect despair.”
A model railroader I chanced to meet when I was in junior-high-school told me this once.
It was only much later that I caught on to the real meaning of those words, but at least I was able to find some consolation in them.
That there is no such thing as perfect coupler.
All the same, when it came to getting something into making Hon30 model using egger-bahn type coupler, I was always overcome with despair.
The range of my ability about coupler was just too limited. Even if I could use un-coupler, say, un-coupler like Greenwich type, I probably couldn’t get delayed un-coupling by it. So it went.
For 40years I was caught in the dilemma...and 40years is a long time.
Of course, you keep telling yourself there’s something to be learned from everything, and growing old shouldn’t be that hard.
Now I think I’m ready to talk.
